Got some questions?

-
Are you qualified?
-
Yes! Dronetec pilots have BNUC-S qualification and carry a Civil Aviation Authority to carry out Aerial work. You can relax having full confidence our team is working to the best practice expected for this kind of activity.
-
-
Are you insured?
-
Yes! Our team are insured to £2 million. If your project is more valuable, rest assured we can still apply for increased cover.
-
-
How far away can you fly?
-
We can fly upto 400ft without extra permission from the CAA and upto 500m away. We prefer to get as close the action as possible though. This helps us to frame up and keep an eye on things.
-
-
What quality can we expect?
-
We can film in a variety of qualities. We can film 4k at 30fps or 1080 at 24, 30 or 60fps depending on what suits you best.
-
-
What if the weathers bad?
-
We try to fly in perfect conditions as this often yields best results, but we understand days like this are few and far between. We can fly upto 25mph winds and in light rain or snow, but as the camera lens is exposed this is far from ideal. We try to book standby days either side of a booking just incase.

Do I need to be there?
-
We would really like to show you what your getting via our live HD downlink in possible. Also our legal documentation requires a second person onsite when we fly. We keep our prices low by using a single pilot for most filming sessions, but if your not available, we can always find someone to help out.
-
-
Can you travel abroad?
-
Yes we can, but this takes time to plan and not all countries allow us. Feel free to contact us and we will consider your request.
